This is James Sunderland , the protagonist of Silent Hill 2. This project originally started out as a photo real bust study for use in a real time engine but as I kept working on the project my love for the character spurred me on to add more and more things to him and before you knew it I had the entire character finished. I learned a lot from this project and kind of saw it as a continuation of my last character model, Samus Aran from Metroid, seeing as I intended for that project to teach me a lot of the methods that I ended up using here for James.
